Karnataka Power Tarrif up by 8%
The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) has announced a hike of 8% in tariff for 2017-2018 on Tuesday, as against the 25% increase the Electricity Supply Companies (Escoms) had sought.
HT Industrial consumers will have to shell out an additional 20 paise to 40 paise per unit.
Commercial consumers 35 paise to 40 paise per unit.
